The Nomination and Governance Committee of the Board of Governors is seeking candidates for appointment to the university boards of trustees.
Each state university has a 13-member Board of Trustees that has fiduciary responsibility for the oversight of university operations, establishing cost-effective policies or regulations consistent with Board of Governors’ regulations or guidelines, and implementing and maintaining high-quality education programs in accordance with the university’s mission.

Each university listed below has one (1) vacancy on their Board. If there is a current trustee in that seat, the current trustee will remain until we appoint/reappoint a successor.

Each appointment is for a five-year term and is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate and participation in a trustee orientation and the Trustee Summit held every other year by the Board of Governors.
