John Brinkman is a graduate student currently pursuing a Master of Science in Management, and he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida, triple majoring in Economics, Political Science, and Philosophy. He grew up in Jacksonville, Florida.
Before being elected Student Body President, he held many roles in Student Government, such as Senate President, Judiciary Chairman, Budget & Appropriations Vice-Chairman, and Junior Class President. Besides his roles in Student Government, he also served as Vice President of External Affairs for Florida Blue Key and has held many roles working directly with university faculty and staff. John has long been a longtime advocate for the student body and is honored to represent over 60,000 Gators. He is currently serving as the Student Body President for the 2024-2025 term.
