~ Florida’s tuition and fees are more than $5,000 less than the national average ~
Tallahassee, FL (October 24, 2024) – The College Board released the 2024 Trends in College Pricing and Student Aid Report, which recognizes Florida for having the lowest undergraduate tuition and fees in the nation for the third straight year. The College Board lists Florida’s in-state tuition and fees for undergraduates as $6,360 in 2024-25, which is $5,250 less than the national average of $11,610.
“Florida consistently demonstrates its commitment to offering the most affordable higher education in the nation while achieving incredible outcomes for students. Florida has held tuition and fees flat since the 2014-15 academic year, providing all students access to pursue higher education,” said Chancellor Ray Rodrigues. “With ongoing support from Governor Ron DeSantis and the Florida Legislature, Florida’s universities will continue to deliver an exceptional return on investment.”
