Strategic Planning Committee: The Board will consider approval of the 2023 university accountability plans. The Board will hear updates on accreditation and programs of strategic emphasis. The Board will consider approval of two state-approved teacher preparation programs for which a student may be eligible to receive a tuition and fee waiver.
Academic and Research Excellence Committee: The Board will consider approval of the Public Notice of Intent to Amend Board of Governors Regulation 9.012, Foreign Influence.
Audit and Compliance Committee: The Board will host a panel of SUS compliance and research experts to discuss how campuses implement legislative requirements to prevent undue and inappropriate influence on institutions by select countries of concern.
Innovation and Online Committee: The Board will consider approval of the 2022 Annual Report for Online Education.
Budget and Finance Committee: The Board will consider approval of the allocation of performance funds for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The Board will consider the allocation of $100 million in Performance-Based Recruitment and Retention funds for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The Board will also consider allowing universities to increase the out-of-state fee by up to 15 percent.
Nomination and Governance Committee: The Board will consider the appointment of university trustees. The Board will consider approval of the Public Notice of Intent to Amend Board of Governors Regulation 1.002, Presidential Search and Selection.
Full Board: The Board will hear updates on the presidential searches at Florida Atlantic University and New College of Florida. The Board will consider the approval of the FGCU President-Elect, Dr. Aysegul Timur.
