In March 2006, the Florida Board of Governors approved a new procedure for the adoption, amendment and repeal of Board regulations. The Regulation Development Procedure requires notice of all proposed regulations to be given at least 30 days prior to the adoption, amendment or repeal of a regulation and posted on a clearly marked area on the Board’s internet website. Any person wishing to comment on a proposed regulation, amendment or repeal may submit a written comment to the contact person identified in the notice within 14 days after the date of the notice.
