Patricia Frost
Patricia Frost, of Miami Beach, spent 28 years as a teacher and principal in the
Miami-Dade County Public School System, retiring in 1993. She is a former member of the Board of Trustees for
Florida International University and has served as chair of the Florida International
University Board of Directors and as chair of the Florida International University
Academic Policy Committee. Frost was named Educator of the Year for her work at
Florida International University and with the Miami-Dade County and Broward County
public school systems. She received her bachelor’s degree from Colby College and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
